I met Kenneth Love while discussing Python and Django development on the designer- and developer-oriented link-sharing site Forrst. I speak with him regularly over Skype, asking him how to solve certain development problems I ran into. It was fairly easy to schedule an interview. I asked him Tuesday after my first interview contact wasn’t available, and he said he could do it. I called him over Skype and recorded our discussion, which lasted about 30 minutes. Kenneth was a very open and talkative person, offering his opinion on everything web-related that I asked him, as well as his thoughts on being a freelancer and how it contrasts from an office job. He had some interesting information to share, such as productivity tips, how to stay on task, how freelancing affects his family life (he has a wife and a son), and how he kind of misses the social dynamic of the office workplace.
